| Zardari’s property to be confiscated Islamabad, March 31: A court in Pakistan has ordered the confiscation of property belonging to Asif Ali Zardari, husband of former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto, who is embroiled in several cases of corruption. The national accountability court gave the verdict on an illegal assets reference, saying that property belonging to Zardari in various cities, including Rawalpindi, should be confiscated, Pakistan Today reported.The judge also directed all concerned officials to take steps to confiscate the property. The court has already declared Zardari a proclaimed offender in the case. |
