| Nepal's statute delayed Kathmandu, June 27: The framing of an interim Constitution that will pave the way for Maoist rebels to join an interim government for Nepal has been delayed by at least two weeks, an official said on Tuesday.
The interim government would include rebel Maoists, who have been fighting a bloody peoples war for the last decade at a cost of at least 12,500 lives. When the power deal was announced on June 16, the government said the interim Constitution would be ready by this Friday. |
