Stop being anxious because you're going to be disappointed if you go in with high expectations. Half way through the movie, you will be asking yourself "Haven't I seen this movie before?". This movie heavily borrows elements from films such as "The Matrix", "Enemy of the State", "I, Robot", "The Man Who Knew Too Much", and a few others. Very little of it is original. That's what really bothers me about this movie. The trailers for this movie make it so intriguing, but it WILL disappoint as far as storyline is concerned.

Meanwhile, the same caller (who is Julianne Moore unaccredited) calls a single mother named Rachel

Drew Barrymore voices the heroine, Chloe, a chihuahua who wears diamonds and Italian leather booties and has a circle of equally over-indulged and over-dressed doggy friends.
Her owner, the wealthy Viv (Jamie Lee Curtis) goes away on a work trip, leaving Chloe in the care of her feckless niece, Rachel (Piper Perabo). Rachel manages to lose Chloe during a trip to Mexico: there, the lapdog has to learn to survive on the streets as she tries to find her way home. She is helped by an enigmatic, solitary Alsatian, Delgado (voiced by Andy Garcia) who nurses a secret sorrow.
Meanwhile Chloe's canine admirer - working-class chihuahua Papi, voiced by George Lopez - does his best to track her down. Director Raja Gosnell presides over a busy movie that throws in a lot of bits and pieces - including criminal gangs, a ferocious Doberman, Day of the Dead celebrations, a slightly annoying CGI iguana-and-rat con act and a message about Chihuahua Pride - but is, in essence, a fairly likeable old-school Disney adventure for younger kids.
