We fell 15-20 runs short : Tom Moody (Sri lankan coach)

Sri Lanka have been done in by the aggression of the Indian cricket team, which has come hard at them in the one-day series, Tom Moody, coach of the visiting side, said in Pune after the fourth one-day international on Thursday.

"I'm obviously disappointed with the result; we fell short by 15 to 20 runs. But all credit to the Indians for playing aggressively. They have come hard at us in the series," Moody said after Sri Lanka suffered their fourth defeat on the trot.

Moody also expressed dismay over the way Indian opener Virender Sehwag was dropped twice, before he reached 12, by Muttiah Muralitharan and wicketkeeper Kumar Sangakkara respectively.

Sehwag went on to score 48 and also put on a crucial stand of 78 runs for the third wicket with captain Rahul Dravid.

"It cost us dearly in the end," he said.

"Our fast bowlers are struggling to cope up with the conditions and Sanath Jayasuriya too is going through a bad phase, but he is hungry to get back among the runs."

Moody also praised the bowling of Indian paceman Ajit Agarkar, who picked the man of the match award for his haul of 5 for 44.

"Agarkar bowled very well and swung as well as reverse swung the ball," he said.
